TWO COMPREHENSIVE CURRICULA

The International baccalaureate is offered in the Elementary, Middle, and High School.

The International Baccalaureate® (IB), which started in Geneva in 1968, is offered in over 5000 schools around the world.

Seoul Foreign School has had a longstanding relationship with the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). In 1980 SFS was one of the first 200 schools worldwide authorized to offer the IB programmes of instruction. In the 2021-2022 school year, SFS is celebrating 40 years of the IB Diploma Programme.
The IBO’s mission highlights a set of ideals that can inspire, motivate and focus the work of schools and teachers, uniting them in a common purpose.

FIELDWORK Education Curriculum is offered in the British School.

The National curriculum is taught through the frameworks of the IEYC (International Early Years Curriculum), IPC (International Primary Curriculum) and IMYC (International Middle Years Curriculum).

These programs give us the learning rigor to inspire excellence and the international, society and personal perspectives to build character in all aspects of school life.

The emphasis is on creating a learning environment built on Thinking, Relevance and Collaboration in order to prepare learners for the 4th Industrial Revolution and beyond.

How do they work together?

The Elementary and Middle Schools run parallel to the British School, with both ultimately leading to the High School.
