At Seoul Foreign Elementary School the purpose of assessment is to support students in their learning and determine how well they are doing measured against the SFS standards and outcomes. Assessment of a student’s progress is an important part of the development of his or her wider critical thinking and self-assessment skills.
Assessment will reflect best practices that support the learner and the teacher in the promotion of student achievement.
A central goal of the Primary Years Program is to thoughtfully and effectively guide students through the five Essential Elements of the program:
