Another Great Year In Sports

The 2023-2024 school year has been another great year for Seoul Foreign High School Sports!  This was the first school year with the full resumption of APAC events since 2018-2019, and the first year of the re-integration of the China schools into all competitions.

The APAC athletic directors decided to host SUPER tournaments (all 12 schools) for basketball, soccer, and badminton this year, with volleyball and tennis coming next year.  These are considered the most competitive tournaments, and in the school's history it had only won two SUPER tournaments before: girls soccer (2010-2011) and boys basketball (2009-10).  This year, SFS has won three SUPER tournaments in one school year: girls basketball, girls soccer, and boys basketball!

Over the past two years, SFS sports teams have done exceptionally well in APAC, including six championships (girls soccer twice, girls basketball twice, boys soccer, and boys basketball) and seven runner ups (boys soccer, boys badminton, boys and girls volleyball, boys and girls swimming, and boys cross country). This is not to mention all of the great results locally against other schools in the KAIAC Conference and KAIAC Tournaments.

SFS has seen success in both boys and girls teams, and across the range of sports that are offered at the school.  Student athletes show a dedication to excel in competition, and to represent themselves, their team, and their school with sportsmanship and character. This is no doubt a credit to all of the coaches who have dedicated their time and efforts to the success of their team on and off the field of play.

Our athletes, coaches, and supporters are looking forward to another great year of sports next year, especially as SFS will host the SUPER APAC boys volleyball in October and APAC girls soccer in April! Let's go, Crusaders!
