Swimming & Aquatics Programme

The Aquatics Department’s mission is to provide high-quality courses and swimming programs to all students at Seoul Foreign School.

Each student will be challenged with a level of instruction suited to their skill level, so they can experience success, improve their swimming and water safety skills, and have fun.

Swim for Dongdaewon

We will be hosting the fourth Swim for Dongdaewon event this year on March 2, 2019.  Please sign up and support the Dongdaewon fundraising event during the month of March.  You can sign up for the meet here. The Swim for Dongdaewon has 25,000 KRW entry fee.  All fees must be paid to the pool office before the student will be entered into the meet.  You can sign up to volunteer here.

International Meet Opportunity

Seoul Foreign School Aquatics will travel to Hong Kong for the Hong Kong Sting Rays Invitational 2019 from May 10th – 12th, 2019 hosted at HKIS.  The Aquatics will be looking to take a small team. If you are interested you need to express your interest here.  For eligibility to represent SFS at an international meet, please refer to the SFS time standards here.  Swimmers must be able to achieve times faster than the standards to attend this meet.

Our goal is to provide a safe, friendly, and clean facility.

We do so by adhering to the highest safety standards, having courteous and friendly personnel, and maintaining a clean facility.

To ensure our patrons’ safety, a lifeguard will always be on duty for all swimming activities. The following guidelines apply:

  • One lifeguard will be on duty for up to 25 patrons
  • Two lifeguards for 26-50 patrons
  • Three lifeguards for 51–75 patrons
