It’s always wonderful to see lessons around school using outdoor areas and our full facilities. Peter Hutchin took his Grade 9 class outside to live history better! The lesson was a re-enactment of the assassination of Franz Ferdinand. The event is seen as the trigger for the World War in 1914 and the class is investigating the Causes of conflict, so this is the starting point of their unit. It was chaotic and crazy but great fun and a real learning experience.
