Eligibility Requirements

Students are eligible to apply if parents can provide documentation outlined here.

A.

If one or both parents hold foreign passports (non-Korean passport)

  • Copy of valid passport title page of child, father, and mother
  • Copy of child’s birth certificate or Korean Family Registry
  • Copy (front and back) of parents’ Alien Registration Card upon issuance from the Immigration Office.

B.

Both parents hold Korean passports
(including those who hold dual passports)

  • Copy of valid passport title page of child, father, and mother
  • Copy of child’s birth certificate or Korean Family Registry
  • Student’s Certificate of Exit and Entry to support that the child has spent 1095 days or more outside of Korea
  • If student is a dual citizen, copies of both passports, and Certificate of Entry and Exit for both passports must be provided

Age Requirements

Students will be considered for placement based on their age on August 31st.
