Standardized Testing

SFS is a closed test center for the SAT. This means only SFS students can take the SAT on our campus. You must select SFS as a test center at the time of registration using our unique test center code. Please contact your University Admissions Counselor for the SFS test center code.

For a list of SAT test dates (international administration) and registration instructions, please go to the College Board's SAT website. Students must register on their own. Please be mindful of registration deadlines as SFS cannot register students on their behalf and/or past the registration deadline.

SFS is not a test center for the ACT. 

Students interested in taking the ACT can do so at Fulbright Korea or other locations throughout Seoul. For a list of ACT test centers, test dates (international administration) and registration instructions, please go to the ACT website. 

SFS is a closed test center for the Cambridge Assessment Admissions Tests. This means only SFS students can take these tests on our campus. Registration occurs in September through the University Counseling Office.

The LNAT is not a Cambridge Assessment test, and SFS does not administer the LNAT. For test locations and registration information, please go to the LNAT website.

The LNAT is not a Cambridge Assessment test. Students interested in taking the LNAT can do so at Pearson VUE locations in Seoul. Please go to the LNAT website for exact location and registration information.

Depending on citizenship, first language, and/or university destination, students may be required to show proof of English proficiency. Often, minimum scores on existing tests (e.g. SAT EBRW or IBDP English Lang&Lit / Lit) or minimum years of full-time study at SFS can satisfy these requirements. Some students may benefit from taking an English proficiency test. Below are most commonly used tests for English proficiency. 

• Duolingo English Test
• TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
• IELTS (International English Language Testing System)

SFS does not administer any of these tests.
