Early Years Program
Using best practice play-based learning, we encourage our youngest students to be curious and to engage with the world around them. Our forested campus at the foot of Ansan Mountain is a natural classroom for safe exploration and responsible risk-taking while our state-of-the-art facilities provide physical education, swimming, music, and art classes with specialist teachers. With 1:8 class sizes, our teachers and assistants care for each student individually. We inspire our learning community to model Christ-Like Attitudes and to develop a heart to serve, a mind to achieve excellence, a passion to learn, and the confidence to create change.
The IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) provides a relevant, challenging, engaging, and significant educational framework. The PYP is an international, transdisciplinary program designed to foster the development of the whole child by encompassing students’ social, physical, emotional, and cultural needs in addition to their academic welfare.
Our Foundation class follows the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC). This is an innovative research-based framework built on international best practice and the developmental needs of 2-5 year olds. It has eight essential Learning Principles and a structured process that captures children’s natural curiosity as a starting point.
