Important things to note for Camp SFS 2025
- All Parents (including returning families) must create a new parent account
- Students may ride the camp bus or be dropped-off/picked-up from camp. Please check the Transportation tab to confirm bus routes, stops, and time before starting the registration process. There is a cap on the number of students on each bus route and we are unable to provide transportation beyond the maximum capacity.
- Students will be billed by the SFS Business Office via email. Payments that are not made in full within two weekdays (48 hours, Monday-Friday) from the "Invoice Date" will be voided without prior notice.
- Session 1 (June 16 - 20) camp hours are different from the rest of the summer, as many of the programs are held off campus. Please check the ending time before starting the registration process.

APPLICATION
Payment & Refund
Payments
Students will be billed via email by the SFS Business Office, and payments must be made via Korean Won wire transfers to the personalized bank account listed in the invoice. Payments must be completed within two weekdays (48 hours, Monday-Friday) from the invoice date. Unpaid invoices will be voided without prior notice.
To ensure payment confirmation, parents are advised to keep a copy of the wire transfer receipt. Incomplete payments within the deadline may result in the student’s enrollment being canceled or tuition changing from Early to Regular Fees.
- External Students will be charged a 100,000 KRW annual application fee per student.
- Children of SFS Alumni may apply as External Students but will receive SFS Student Fees plus the 100,000 KRW external application fee after Camp SFS verifies the parent’s attendance at SFS. For price adjustments, parents must email campsfs@seoulforeign.org after completing their child’s application.
Refunds
Requests for refunds must be made via email to campsfs@seoulforeign.org by March 31, 2025. After April 1, refunds are not available, but families may receive credit for the amount paid, which can be applied to Camp SFS 2025 or Camp SFS 2026. Any difference in fees after applying credit must be paid.
- Medical Refunds: If a refund is needed due to illness or injury, parents must submit a written doctor’s note stating that the child is physically unable to participate in camp activities. Refunds will be processed after confirmation by the SFS Health Office or Camp SFS Office, covering the remaining sessions or days.
- Camp Cancellations: If Camp SFS cancels a session, a 100% refund will be provided.
Other Fees
Application Change Fee: If a parent requests a class or session change after submitting an application, a 70,000 KRW fee will apply. Changes are subject to availability.
HEALTH
Health Policy
Medical Forms
All students must have fulfilled their medical requirements prior to their first day of camp.
- Returning SFS Students: Although the SFS Health Office requires that the online Student Medical Packets be completed by August, if there are changes to your child's medical conditions (allergies, medication, etc.) it is highly advised that you contact the health office (healthoffice@seoulforeign.org) and request for updates to their file before the first day of camp. It is the parents' responsibility to make sure that students who have on going prescribed medication (ex. inhaler), return their medication to the health office on the first day of camp.
- New SFS Students joining August 2025: All medical documents and information requested during enrollment is due before the start of camp, regardless of the due date on the SFS Student Dashboard or other forms of communication. Students that have not fulfilled the requirements set by the SFS Health Office will not be admitted to camp until all documents and information have been received.
- Returning Camp SFS 2024 External Students: After the invoice has been paid in full, parents will be contacted by the Camp SFS Nurse via email. Students that have attended Camp SFS 2024 may be asked for updated information but may not be asked to complete the full Report of Medical Examination Form this year.
- New External Students: After the invoice has been paid in full, parents will be contacted by the Camp SFS Nurse via email for the student's medical history and the Report of Medical Examination Form to be conducted by a physician. It is important to note that SFS does NOT accept student's physical exam certified by a parent who may be a physician or medical professional. Some medical checks conducted in 2024 may be accepted. Once you receive an email from campsfsmedical@seoulforeign.org, please check with our Camp SFS Nurse if any previously conducted medical check can be accepted for Camp SFS 2025. If any forms submitted are from uncertified physicians/clinics or filled out dishonestly, the clinic may be reported to the the Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare (보건복지부) and/or legal actions may be taken against all offending parties.
Medication Authorization Form
Students requiring prescription or over-the-counter medication during camp hours must submit a Medication Authorization Form, which must accompany the medication at check-in. Parents or students should deliver the medication directly to the SFS Health Office or a Camp SFS Team Member.
- Medication must have clear administration instructions, ideally written on the container. A list of possible side effects from a doctor or pharmacist should also be included.
- All prescribed medications must be stored at the SFS Health Office.

Specific Needs
Injury Procedure
If a student becomes ill or injured during camp hours, they will be taken to the SFS Health Office, or the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) will assist them on-site. Based on the student’s condition, the Health Office/EMT may:
- Treat the student and return them to camp while updating the parent/guardian.
- Contact the parent/guardian for immediate pick-up.
- Call an ambulance to transport the student to the nearest emergency room and notify the parent/guardian immediately.
Food
- Nut-free lunches and snacks are provided daily. However, food may be processed in facilities that handle nuts, milk, seafood, or gluten.
- Dietary Restrictions: Parents of students with allergies or special dietary needs may request approval to bring their own packed lunch/snacks. Note that refrigeration is not available, and all food must be packed in non-glass containers without nuts.
- Home-packed food: If a student does not have special dietary requirements, parents are asked not to send food from home.
- Food Sharing: To prevent the spread of illness and maintain hygiene, students may not share food. Meals should only be eaten in the cafeteria or designated areas. Students may return for additional servings.
- Birthday Treats: Parents may send nut-free birthday treats for the student’s class. These must be pre-cut or individually packaged for easy distribution. A minimum of 23 servings should be provided. Beverages are not allowed.

STUDENT BEHAVIOR
Student Behavior Expectations
Students are expected to follow all instructor and staff instructions during camp hours. In addition, they should:
- Act respectfully while on campus and on the school bus.
- Take responsibility for their actions.
- Be honest and caring in their interactions with others.
- Speak only English, unless instructed otherwise.
- Communicate with staff about any uncomfortable experiences during camp.
Good Behavior Rewards
3-Strike Policy
Camp SFS enforces a strict 3-Strike Policy for behavioral misconduct. Any student who receives three strikes will be withdrawn from the program, and no refunds will be issued.
- All forms of misbehavior may result in a strike.
- Camp SFS reserves the right to withdraw student applications for unacceptable or disruptive behavior.
- Students must be fully potty trained before registering. A potty accident will result in a strike.
Discipline Procedures
Examples of Unacceptable Behavior
- Refusing to follow staff instructions.
- Using profanity or vulgar language.
- Stealing or damaging personal or SFS property.
- Refusing to participate in activities or cooperate with staff.
- Disrupting a class or leaving without permission.
- Engaging in dangerous behavior that could harm themselves or others.
- Possessing prohibited items such as weapons, lighters, drugs, tobacco, or alcohol.
- Using illicit drugs, alcohol, or tobacco.
- Engaging in sexual conduct of any kind.
- Bullying, teasing, or making fun of others.
- Fighting or violence.
- Using electronic devices during camp hours without permission.
- Misusing campus facilities.
Dress Code
Camp SFS promotes a community atmosphere focused on learning with students of all ages. Students must dress appropriately, following these guidelines:
- Clothing should be neat, clean, and modest.
- No offensive images or text, including references to drugs or inappropriate language.
- Tops must fit properly, with a modest neckline and waistline.
- Pants/shorts should fit properly, with no visible undergarments or excessive bare skin.
- Safe footwear is required at all times (no open-toed shoes; Crocs are allowed).
Water Play and Free Swim
- Students may only be excused from Water Play or Free Swim with a doctor’s note stating they cannot participate in water activities.
- Alternative activities will not be provided. Students will sit with a Camp Counselor until Water Play or Free Swim ends.
School Bus Behavior Expectations
Expectations while on the bus and adhere to the following additional rules:
- Board the bus and take their seat promptly.
- Remain seated with seat belts fastened.
- Get on and off only at their registered bus stop.
- Keep arms, legs, and other body parts inside the bus.
- Do not throw objects out of windows or doors.
- No eating or drinking on the bus.
- Follow all instructions from the bus driver and supervisor.
- Do not distract the driver or disturb other students.
Personal Items
- Students should have their name and Student ID number/birthdate labeled on all belongings.
- Lost and found items will be kept until July 25, 2025, after which they will be donated.
- Valuables and toys should not be brought to camp. Camp SFS is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
- Lost item photos will be included in the weekly email and updated daily. If a parent recognizes an item, they should email campsfs@seoulforeign.org with their child’s name, Student ID/birthdate, and the item number.
SUPERVISION
Absences, Late Arrival, Early Dismissal
Drop-Off & Pick Up
Parents should review the weekly Camp SFS email sent the previous Tuesday for important updates on drop-off and pick-up procedures.
Appointments & Scheduling
To avoid attendance conflicts, parents are encouraged to schedule doctor’s appointments and embassy visits outside of Camp SFS hours.

Student ID
Student ID Policy
- Students must wear their Student ID daily for check-in, check-out, and safety.
- Students without their Student ID will be sent to the Camp SFS Office for a Temporary Student ID, valid for that day only.
- A 10,000 KRW Replacement Fee will be invoiced to parents for lost Student IDs. A new ID will be issued the following day.
