About the SFS PTA

The Seoul Foreign School Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) promotes, supports and enriches the interests and welfare of the students, teachers and parents of Seoul Foreign School through social, extra-curricular, and fund-raising activities. The PTA is made up primarily of parents and guardians of students attending Seoul Foreign School, and includes teachers and administrators.

The PTA consists of a main Board (the “PTA Board”), and four divisional PTA committees, one each from the Elementary School, Middle School, High School and British School divisions. The PTA Board comprises elected members, who are elected annually and are parents or guardians of students at the school. Teachers, Administrators, or paid employees of the PTA are not eligible to hold elected PTA offices. The elected members of the PTA Board are as follows:

• President (term to be limited to no more than 2 consecutive yearly terms).
• Vice-President (will also Chair the International Fair Committee).
• Treasurer
• Secretary
• 4 Divisional PTA Committee Chairs (1 each – HS, MS, ES and BS)
• Youth Sports Program Chairperson
• Spiritwear Chairperson
