The Lyso Center for the Performing Arts, dedicated in December 2003 , (LCPA) at a cost of $8,500,000 US is a superb venue for student performances. The facility includes a 700-seat auditorium, offices for school-wide administration, music suite and a “Blackbox” theater. The LC has become the focal point building of the Seoul Foreign School campus and provides excellent opportunities for students to excel in drama and music. Teachers and students alike have access to a plethora of high-tech sound and lighting equipment. With over 350 lighting fixtures and 64 channels of wireless-capable sound processing equipment, there are few limitations to a user’s technical requirements or artistic interests. Fifteen separate rigging systems, many of them individually powered and computerized, allow for flying of full-scale set pieces. In addition, the revolving stage allows for greater flexibility in an already stellar, state-of-the art performance venue. The Center has a full-time Director and a Technical Operator.

Apart from the Lyso Center for the Performing Arts, Robb Hall, the school’s smaller auditorium, continues to be the most widely used theatre venue for day-to-day productions and presentations. As a 400-seat venue, its size is perfect for class presentations and divisional assemblies. All four divisions regularly schedule activities on the Robb Hall stage. Some people are drawn to the nostalgia of working on the Robb Hall stage - a stage whose history is rich and colorful.
