Administrative Team

The principal and elementary school counselor comprise the administrative team for the elementary school. The administrative team oversees the entire ES program with the principal responsible as the academic leader and the counselor responsible for the social and emotional aspect of a student studying at Seoul Foreign School.

The academic team expands depending on identified needs of individual students at SFS. Specialists, including but not limited to an ESL, learning resource and school psychologist, are part of a Child Study Team that compassionately monitors students experiencing difficulties at school. Other specialists in art, music, PE, computer and language also provide feedback to the Child Study Team; this provides a complete picture of a student’s academic progress at Seoul Foreign School.

We look at students individually; a child’s social, emotional and academic development are of equal importance. Each child possesses strengths and our program endeavors to build on these strengths to help each student achieve their best while they attend Seoul Foreign School. The comprehensive program also strives to ensure success should a family move and a child need to transition to another school.
