Mission Statement
How do we respond to our mission statement? Well, in SFBS, we aim to ...
- provide an exciting, secure and purposeful learning environment within the guidelines of the National Primary Strategy and the English National Curriculum for Reception to Year 9 which pupils may, with confidence, develop their full potential academically, socially and physically regardless of race, creed or sex.
- foster high expectations of performance and to encourage the highest possible levels of achievement.
- provide a community where the needs and aspirations of others are understood and respected.
- maintain close links with home, playgroups and other international schools (both within the peninsular and in the wider area of SE Asia) in the interest of continuity and development for all pupils.
- promote in pupils, both as individuals and in groups, a lasting commitment and enthusiasm for the responsibilities of being part of a community and for the contributions they will be able to make to our society.
- encourage the concept of a shared responsibility with parents for the education and well-being of their children, in order both to make best use of the educational opportunities available to each pupil, and also to support each pupil’s aspirations for the future.
- develop a partnership with the wider community, being responsive to the needs of that community and drawing from its strengths.
