Edline and Seoul Foreign School
Today, parents often suffer from "feast or famine" when it comes to getting the information they need to help guide their children to success. They may get insufficient or filtered information from the children themselves. Or, if a school has a website, parents may find a glut of information, but have difficulty finding what's relevant to them.
To help harness the power of parental involvement in student and school success, Edline offers:
- General school information is available to the public at any time without a password.
- Personal shortcuts to the information parents need. Parents gain ready access to information just about their students: classes, activities, homework, reports, test dates, missing assignments and much more. Navigation is easy: no need to remember multiple URLs and passwords, or to maneuver through a maze of disorganized web pages.
- A combined calendar, where assignments, test dates, programs, and other calendar information from all of the separate classes, teams, clubs and other groups pertaining to one individual student are displayed on a single, “combined” calendar page for a big-picture view.
- E-mail alerts when important new information becomes available.
- Single sign-in with one screen name and password, provides access to all information for different students for one parent in different buildings but in one school district.
