Academic Information

Seoul Foreign School has a long standing tradition of academic excellence, and our reputation as one of the top international schools in Asia is well deserved. Although the term “academic excellence” will mean different things to different people, the faculty at SFS is committed to working with each and every student to inspire, challenge and support the vast learning experiences that are made available through our curricular and extracurricular programming. From our perspective, academic excellence is measured by far more than simply a number on a transcript or a standardized test. Rather, our focus is on working with our students to help them think critically about their world. We believe that learning is far more than simply the consuming and expelling memorized information. SFS emphasizes academic excellence by teaching students how to analyze and interpret that information in order to produce insightful results within and outside of the classroom. Providing an environment of academic excellence ensures students adequate preparation and subsequent success at a university level and beyond. Seoul Foreign School is unashamedly an academic institution, with virtually all of our graduates headed off to four year colleges and universities around the world.
