Welcome to the Secondary  Media  Center 

About the SMC

The Seoul Foreign School Secondary Media Center (SMC) welcomes students, staff, and parents to use our resources.  The SMC is located on two floors and provides plenty of space  for class and individual study. Many resources and services are offered to facilitate learning and promote information literacy.

Media Center Collections:

Destiny – SFS online catalog (http://library.sfs.or.kr)

Our online card catalog which can be used 24/7 to access information.   The Secondary Media Center supports a well-rounded collection of 28,000 resources including audiobooks, books, DVDs, graphic novels, periodicals, and professional resources.

Database password lists can be found on Ms. Hosemann’s or Ms. Marshall’s desk in the SMC.

We subscribe to over 80 international publications.  The most current issues are housed in the SMC for patron usage and past issues are available for checkout

Research Support


Core teachers and the division media specialist collaborate in providing research experiences using  the Big6 organizational model. Students practice various research skills within a research lesson and/or project.
